What we're doing now
35 hectares of previously undeveloped ground have been planted with 87,500 Pangantuon trees.
A fourth plantation, totaling 15 hectares, is being readied for the 2012 planting season.
3 communities of Tree Farmers work as stewards of the tree plantations located in the municipalities of Catmon, Borbon, and San Remigio, Cebu. They earn an additional income for the care of the trees.
Go Green Philippines started training people in the three communities new skills and possible new livelihood activities as part of the Green for Good livelihood project.
