Where we are now
35 hectares of what used to be idle land are now planted with 87,500 Pangantuon trees.
A fourth plantation covering an additional 15 hectares is being prepared for the planting season in 2012.
3 communities of Tree Farmers work as stewards of the tree plantations located in the municipalities of Catmon, Borbon, and San Remigio, Cebu. They earn an additional income for the care of the trees.
Go Green Philippines started training people in the three communities new skills and possible new livelihood activities as part of the Green for Good livelihood project.
